Electoral Strategy

Background and Context

With national elections approaching in early 2026, there is a growing need for credible, data-driven insights into voter sentiment. Existing polling efforts often suffer from small, biased samples or methodological limitations, especially for rural-based constituencies.

Online surveys often exclude large segments of the population. Our recent fieldwork in rural constituencies confirms that online engagement does not reflect voter reality.

Our Approach: A Credible Alternative

We conduct face-to-face surveys with at least 2,000 randomly selected voters per constituency. Samples are drawn from every union and upazila, proportionally aligned with local demographics—such as age, gender, and religion.

To minimize bias, we apply a four-tier mitigation strategy:

  • Questionnaire Design: Standardized, neutrally worded questions are asked about all major political parties.
  • Survey Protocols: Trained enumerators follow strict guidelines to maintain academic neutrality during the survey.
  • Validation: An independent researcher conducts qualitative observations across all unions, and these memos are used to validate the survey results.
  • Independent Analysis: Researchers with no ties to the constituency analyze the data to reduce the risk of interpretive bias.

Our Goals

We help condidate building evidence based, data driven campaign strategy by

  • Create a real-time electoral insights dashboard.
  • Enable data-driven campaign strategy.
  • Monitor effects of campaign interventions over time.

Candidate Selection Support

To break with dynastic, opaque selection methods, we help finding candidate who can realy win the election

  • Ground-level data on a candidate’s social appeal and voter popularity
  • Tailored analysis of constituency-specific electoral needs.
